Inspired by floral oil paintings, Yan created this series of vintage-style hand-painted ceramic cups. Each cup is carefully crafted, shaped, and painted entirely by hand.

Using an in-glaze technique during firing, the floral designs fuse seamlessly into the glaze, resulting in a lustrous and translucent finish.

This particular design features iris blossoms against a dark background.
